Celebration of Life: Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 3:00pm with a chance to visit the family 1 hour before and after.
Stacy was born in Fort Hood, Texas on June 14, 1984 to Robert and Karen Lucas. She grew up in Arlington, Texas and attended Martin High School. Stacy had a "let's just do it" attitude and was always down to have some fun. She was known as "Little Bob" when she was young, and as she got older she loved flying in the old war planes with her father and keeping score at the motocross tracks. Stacy loved spending time with her family and eating her mother's cooking. When she or her brother would take the last bite of food they'd say, "BAM", or she would say, "That was awful", with a full tummy. She enjoyed going to the shooting range, traveling, camping, taking care of her plants, painting and creating things with her hands. She adored her dogs Duke and Zeppelin.
Stacy loved her work family at Godfrey Propane where she worked for 14 years as the main office manager. After her breast cancer diagnosis she didn't cry "why me", she stepped up, fought and was an example of bravery and determination. She turned her treatments into fun in any way she could, giving them themed dress up days. She also named her cancer after different Disney Villains she could then defeat. Everyone looked forward to her famous "celebrity doppelganger" facebook posts as her hair would grow back. She could always make you smile or laugh. In her last years, while finding herself and navigating life newly single, she took on the world with a passion to live life to the fullest in ways others only talk about.
She was a true enthusiast and loved all types of music and going to concerts. One of her many passions was to unite the DFW music scene. She brought everyone together to make it stronger while promoting and supporting all the bands she loved. Stacy founded a music social club, Feral Angels, where she was known as "#4, The Fighter" and also lovingly referred to as The Queen. She loved everyone she met and the word stranger never applied to people for her. She was thoughtful and loved doing things for others to make them feel special and seen. Stacy knew how to make you feel like you were the only person in the room that mattered and it was that love that she so freely gave to people that made her who she was. Despite everything Stacy was going through, she gave of herself to everyone around her. She was our strength and now we must be strong together, without her.
Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved Bubba, Brandon Scott Lucas.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Karen; sister, Lindsey; niece, Cherish; stepdaughter, Daisy; an abundance of extended family and friends; and her fur babies, Duke and Zeppelin.
