

Stephanie Ann Gruenhagen Ball, age 70, entered into heaven just minutes after sunrise on July 5, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on April 30, 1954, in Great Falls, Montana to Robert and Jean Gruenhagen. Stephanie was raised in Great Falls before moving to Arlington, Texas in 1966. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1971 and from Stephen F. Austin University in 1974. Following her marriage in 1975, Stephanie worked as a school teacher. Her most precious title was that of Mother to her three children. She worked from home as a licensed child care provider for several years, a job she always spoke highly of and missed. She was wonderfully creative. Her family and friends will always cherish her watercolor paintings. Stephanie will be remembered for her contagious laughter, unwavering strength, and unconditional love.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Ball, and mother, Jean Gruenhagen. She is survived by her father, Robert Gruenhagen of Kennedale; daughters, Hilary Ely (Hervey) of Haslet and Laura Hall (Cade) of Mansfield; son, Nathan Ball of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Aubrey Ely, Layla Ely, Katelyn Ely, Hadley Hall, and Hudson Hall; sister, Susan Schrade (James) of Arlington; niece, Emily Groves (Dustin) of Dallas; aunt, Beverly Johnston of Great Falls; and uncle, Edward Law of Austin in addition to many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 19 at 1:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 1219 North Davis Drive in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or charity of choice.
