George Stephen "Steve" West passed from this world on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the age of 69. A visitation will be held 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington. Cremation will follow and his ashes will be buried with his parents at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
Steve was born June 14, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. He attended school at South Oak Cliff High School and graduated in 1963. After graduation he attended Arlington State College, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 1967 and his Masters from UT Arlington in 1968.
Steve liked watching basketball and allows followed the Dallas Mavericks and was a Star Trek Trekkie through and through.
