Swati was a giving person -- to her family, friends and people she never knew. She loved to travel and read. She was born in Mumbai, India, and had lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Waco before moving to Fort Worth. Swati was a self-employed certified public accountant and was one of the first women chartered accountants at a large regional firm in Mumbai, India.
The family would like to thank the medical and entire staffs of John Peter Smith Hospital, Fort Worth, and Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, for their outstanding and compassionate care.
Swati was preceded in death by her father, Jayantilal Fadia.
Survivors: Swati's husband, Dr. Raj Ramesh Gandhi of Fort Worth; the children she loved, son Ronak Rajesh Gandhi and daughter Serena Rajesh Gandhi; mother, Indumati Fadia of Piscataway, N.J.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ramesh Hiralal and Kumud Ramesh Gandhi of North Haledon, N.J.; brother and sister-in-law, Atul and Harsha Fadia of Piscataway, N.J.; brother and sister-in-law, Vipul Jayantilal and Kiran Vipul Fadia of Monmouth Junction, N.J.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ravi Ramesh and Swati Ravi Gandhi of Newport Beach, Calif.; nieces, Priya and Mira Gandhi of Newport Beach, Calif., Shreya Fadia of Ithaca, N.Y., Shruti Fadia of Philadelphia, Pa., and Sneha Fadia of Monmouth Junction, N.J.; nephew, Vishal Fadia of Ithaca, N.Y.; and many other family members and friends.
