Ted is survived by his adoring wife, Carol; daughters, Kristen and Lauren; brother, Robert; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted, Sr. and Irene, and his previous wife Diane Poleski.
Ted was born January 9, 1952 in Annapolis, Maryland to Ted and Irene. He spent twelve years at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Annapolis where he excelled in football and lacrosse. He graduated from high school in 1970. Although he was a devoted Annapolitan, it was Ted’s dream to attend college at Texas Christian University where he received his BS in Business Management in 1974.
After graduating college, Ted took a job with IBM and resided in Texas where he met and married Diane. He later worked as a landman, which allowed him to travel the United States. Ted and Diane settled back in Texas to welcome their daughters Kristen in 1981, and then Lauren in 1986. Ted would forever be dedicated to “his girls”.
After the passing of Diane in 2002, Ted was fortunate to meet and fall in love with Carol. They married in 2005 and spent the rest of his life happily and affectionately together.
Between family, friends, sports, animals, and casinos, Ted was a lover of life and will be missed by all who knew him.
The service for Ted is scheduled for Friday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the South Chapel at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ted’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Food for the Poor or St. Anne’s Memorial Fund.
The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the faithful and tireless caregivers who became family in the last years of Ted’s life.
