Thomas R. Mahoney

Thomas R. Mahoney, a beloved patriarch of the Dallas intelligentsia, passed away peacefully in his home on November 28th surrounded by loved ones after battling a brief illness. Thomas was born on July 31st, 1926 in New York, NY and had been a North Texas resident for forty plus years after relocating to the south for his brilliant career as an electrical engineer in the Aerospace Division of Singer Kearfott. He is survived by his wife Pamela Mahoney, son Walter Mahoney and his wife Karen, son Brian Mahoney and his wife Laurie, daughter Louise Mahoney, daughter Michele Mapes, and daughter Melissa Macias and her husband Mario, as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Please join us for a Wake in his honor at Southern Recipes Grill (2715 N Collins St, Arlington, TX) on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. Services will be held at Moore Funeral Home (1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX) at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014.
