Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Interment: Non Cemetery in Non, Okla. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Thornton retired from Vought Aircraft after 35 years. Tom was 32nd-degree Mason of the Masonic Lodge. He was very dedicated to his lodge and brothers.
Survivors: Wife, Sharon; son, Jeff Thornton of Lancaster; daughter, Robbie Eaves, son-in-law, David Eaves, and beloved granddaughter, Peyton Eaves of Arlington; sister, Flora Lee Sells of Gerty, Okla.; brothers, C.L. Thornton of Calvin, Okla., and Ray Thornton and Cleburn Thornton of Allen, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
