William Wayne Wright Jr.

Wayne attended Arlington High School where he excelled in soccer, football, baseball and track. After graduation, Wayne attended college at Texas Tech and was a devoted Red Raiders fan. At Texas Tech, Wayne was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity, where he made many lifelong friends. Wayne later earned his Bachelor of Business Studies from Dallas Baptist University and then, completed his Master of Business Administration in 2004. For most of his adult life, Wayne worked at The Palace of Wax in Grand Prairie, the family business founded by his maternal grandfather, W. Thomas Bolton, in 1963.

In addition to his Red Raiders, Wayne loved golfing and travel. Hawaii was his preferred destination and he visited many of the islands during his lifetime. Wayne embraced the spirit of aloha and will be remembered for his easygoing personality and quiet wisdom.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Gloria Hall Wright; sister, Leslie Wright Potenzo, and husband, Ronald Lee, of Arlington, and nephews, Brock Anthony Potenzo and Jacob Patrick Potenzo.

A memorial service will be held at Rush Creek Church - Green Oaks Campus, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76017 at 11:00 AM on February 27, 2020.
