

LEWISTON: Albert T Dagneau, 90, of Sabattus Maine, died peacefully Feb 1, 2016 at Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston Maine. He was born in Lewiston on July 22, 1925, the son of Albert Dagneau and Flavie (Cyr) Dagneau, of Lewiston Maine. Albert was educated in local schools and worked his whole life in Lewiston.
He enjoyed owning and tinkering with trucks and automobiles. He loved his camp and boating on Sabattus Lake. Albert loved and enjoyed all animals, and always had pets.
Albert was a skilled, first class, flooring expert and was employed in that field his whole life.
Albert served his country in the Armed forces in the 7th Army from 1943 to 1946 and participated in the landing at Omaha Beach, Normandy.
He is survived by his brother, Marcel Dagneau and his wife, Lou Dagneau of Northport Maine. He was predeceased Nov. 20, 2007 by his wife Cecile (Fortin) Dagneau.
Special appreciation goes out to the Coburn family of Sabattus Maine for their friendship and loving care over the years. Special mention goes to Marshwood Center, Lewiston, Maine for the excellent care they gave Albert during his stay with them. Also sending appreciation for the excellent care given to Albert by the Androscoggin Home Health Services Hospice program. We express extreme gratitude for all the excellent care, benefits and attention given to Albert over the years, by the VA in Togus.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
DAGNEAU---Albert T., 90, of Sabattus died Monday February 1, 2016. Per his request, there will be a private ceremony with family and close friends at the VA cemetery in Augusta at a later date.
