AUBURN — Cynthia “Cyndi” Webster, 55, of Auburn passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice. She was born on April 2, 1960, the daughter of Henry and Ruth (Biship) Kostka in Hull, Mass. She attended local schools and graduated from Hull High School in 1978. She married her husband, Steven Webster Sr., on April 29, 1989, and together, they raised their family. Cyndi had many passions but none were more important than her family and pets. She was known for her amazing cooking. Nothing made her happier than feeding her family and friends at her summer barbecues and annual Christmas party. When she planned a party for 30 people, she made enough food for 60. She was also the proud parent of two wonderful dogs, Grizzly and Willie, two grand-dogs, Brady and Zenyatta, and six chickens. Her other interests were going for bike rides and fishing every Sunday with her husband, Steve. She also loved to garden and mow the lawn, though she was a wildcard when she got her new zero turn mower. Her children and their families loved the generous care packages she put together — always including heartfelt gifts. Cyndi selflessly sacrificed her own career to support her husband’s burgeoning business. What she did for Webster Tree Service over the past 20 years cannot be put into words. She wore many hats, including human resources, reception, bookkeeping and most importantly, she never let the crew go home hungry. Cyndi was completely selfless — a caring, loving woman who put everyone before herself. She lived to make everyone around her feel happy, and was the glue that held two very large families together. Cyndi will be greatly missed.
