Born on Feb. 27, 1949, in Lewiston, Maine to Robert and Jeannette Custeau.
Daniel worked as an electronic technician at USPS. Before that, he had a business repairing scoreboards. He is a big fan of Boston Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins. He adores Abraham Lincoln and loves American Indian paintings.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Bebie, and son, Michael (Illinois), his 2 sisters, Joanne (Gary) Collins, Jacqueline (Jim)Dow and several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 8 Sacred Place Auburn, ME on Tuesday, Nov 18, 2025 at 11AM, with Military Honors and Committal Prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road Lewiston, ME 04240.
