Dora Luz Ortiz DeJesus

Dora was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico on January 12, 1936 the daughter of the late Santos and Maria (Rodriguez) Ayala. She was married to Samuel Ortiz DeJesus for 68 years before his passing in 2024. She enjoyed being with family and friends and was loved by all.

Dora is survived by her daughter Clarice Ortiz Lutz (William Lutz); her son Samuel Ortiz Jr (Agnieszka Dynda); her son Ronald Ortiz (Susan Sloan Ortiz); her grandson David Lutz; her grandson Michael Lutz; her grandson Adam Lutz; her granddaughter Katie Purgar (Michael Purgar); her grandson Samuel Ortiz III; her granddaughter Bella Ortiz; her grandson Rafael Melifera (Lizzy); her grandson Carlos Ortiz (Samantha Palmieri); her great grandson Ezrah moyen; her great grandson Godric Moyen; her great grandson; her great granddaughter Octavia moyen; her great granddaughter Royale Lutz; her great grandson Keizer Lutz; her great granddaughter Emily Ortiz; her sister Nellie LaFontaine and her niece Leslie Mower.

Graveside Services honoring Dora's life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
