

Irene C.Lisbon - Irene C. Bingelis, age 61, 0f 3 Elmwood Drive in Lisbon, died early Saturday morning April 23rd at The Hospice House with her loving family by her side. She was born in Lewiston September 2, 1949, the daughter of Ida and Alphonse Derosier. Irene attended Lewiston schools and worked as a Nurse's Aid in the Lewiston area. She was married to Mark J. Bingelis on September 2, 1967 and together they had two children. Irene was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 135 and the Red Hatters Club. Among her favorite enjoyments were playing Bingo, knitting and reading novels written by Danielle Steel. Irene also loved spending time at the ocean and enjoyed visiting Land's End at Bailey's Island. But most of all, she loved spending quality times with her family, children and grandchildren. She was loving, devoted and hard working wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Irene leaves her companion Richard Dubois of Lisbon; two sons Mark D. Bingelis and his wife Heather of Sabattus and Richard Bingelis and his wife Nicole of Lewiston; four grandchildren Eli Ward, Courtney Brooks, Kaitlyn Vye and Emily Bingelis; two sisters Connie Harvey and husband Al of Lewiston and Paulette Lee and husband Bill of Sabattus; two brothers Alphonse Derosier Jr. of Auburn and Paul Derosier of Sabattus and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ida and Alphonse Derosier. The family would like to thank Dr. Austin and all the nurses and staff at the Hospice House for the care, compassion and support provided to Irene and her family during this difficult time.
