AUBURN – James Arthur Davis I passed away December 3 2021. James was born December 20 1953 to the late Ruth and William Davis. August 17th 1973 James married Fern Davis. Though they were divorced, they shared a very close friend ship and loved each other dearly. He worked for himself as a scrap\iron dealer for many years. James loved car racing at Oxford Plains speedway and working on stock cars with family and friends. He treasured his children and his grandchildren. He was a second dad to many.
James is predeceased by his parents Ruth (Goding) Davis ,William Davis, sisters Virginia Davis and Susan ( Davis) Girardin and a brother John Davis.
James is survived by his sister Beverly Popolizio, ex-wife Fern Davis, son Jonathan Davis, James Davis II, daughter in law Chrissy Smith, daughter Sally Davis and fiancée Normand Comeau Jr., grandson James Davis III, granddaughter Maranda Kenney and partner Tyler Blancherd, granddaughter Hannah Kenney, grandson Jared Davis, grandson Javen Davis, grandson Daniel Comeau and many special family and friends whom he left his mark on. He will be missed by them all.
Visitation will be held Tuesday December 14th starting at 4pm to 8pm at The Fortin Group 217 Turner St. Auburn.
Burial will be held at a later date.
