You will be missed I Rember the days off working out at fitness world and great conversations  and also when you would come in to vip to have work done on your cars all ways a good friend you will be missed but I will see you again some day .

I was blessed to call Jim my brother-in-law for many years. He was an amazing uncle to mine and his big brother's son. Jim was always the most quick-witted and subtly funny of the Strout siblings.

I will forever cherish our Saturday afternoons visiting his parents' home with him and Brittany. 

My prayers are with the entire Strout family as they cope with this heartbreaking loss.

Man what a devastating loss. I just read all the tributes and looked at the photos and the immense love Jim had with family and dear long lasting friends shines on his page. You all who were close to.Jim I send my prayers your way. I only worked with Jim for 3 months at CMMC but long enough to know he was a good, funny and thoughtful person. I remember he got me a hobby lobby gift card for my birthday...he had listened closely to conversations to know I would use it. To Nancy, I send my deepest condolences to you. I am so sorry you lost your fiance. I send my deep condolences to your children, siblings and parents. 

I worked with Jim and I was deeply saddened to hear about his accident.  He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and seemed to truly care about what he was doing.  He did a FANTASTIC job and everyone in the office loved him.  Jim will truly be missed.

I was so sad when I heard you had passed. We were childhood friends, living only 2 houses apart for over 20 years,  and have always been friends as adults even though we really only saw each other out and about. I was so thrilled to figure out we worked in the same building. You're smile never changed. You will be missed so much.  ❤

I mostly remember James in his early years.  He was always so funny and kind.  Every time I saw him, he made me laugh.  About a year ago, I ran into him for the first time in almost 30 years.  In just one glimpse and a brief hello, I immediately recognized that sense of humor and smile.  His adult self mirrored the adorable kid he was.  I know his family and friends are devastated.  They’re in my thoughts and prayers during this incomprehensible, hurtful time.  RIP, James.  I know you’ll be brightening up the days of others in heaven.  I look forward to seeing that smile again one day!

I met Jim when I started working at CMMC in sterile processing. Being new to sterile processing Jim amongst others took me under their wings. I was so grateful to get to work with him and absorb the wealth of knowledge he so willingly would share. They all taught me so much, especially Jim. Working with Jim one Saturday we realized just how much we had in common, and our childhood was similar. He certainly had a great sense of humor. We would use a clock to time processes in the department and he would hide the clock on me. This would drive me crazy, yet was quite funny and we would all have a good laugh, always. I will honor his memory in my continued work. My condolences to his family, friends, and all that had the opportunity to meet this great guy. Rest in peace Jim.

I have fond memories of Jim from the Pizza Hut days.  Always such a cheerful guy. Im sure he will be missed by all that knew him.

I never personally knew James but I saw him frequently while working at CM in the ED in passing. He always had a smile and was always courteous and pleasant. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you peace and healing in this tough time. Thinking of all of you who knew James.

I met James in 1997 when I started working with his mom. Over the years, I've seen Jim sporadically. He always had a smile on his face and was always pleasant to talk to. I will miss his smile. To his whole entire family, I am sending my most deepest condolences to you all. My prayers go out to all of you.

I don't even know where to begin. I was devastated when I heard the news and am so sorry we lost touch these last several years. You were and always will be my best friend. 

I cherish the memories I have of us growing up, the bike rides out to Lake Auburn, skating at Bates, playing ball, and all the unmentionable mischief. The endless conversations about life we had as teens, partying, girls, and more unmentionable mischief. Our early twenties, roommates, working together at Pizza Hut and CMMC, the countless times we just hung out and did nothing...

Although the last few days have been filled with sadness I have also had some great laughs as I remember some of our adventures and your antics. The time you casually reach over and turned off my headlights on a pitch black road on our way to Bar 55 in Canada, playing bumper cars on Minot Ave with our POS Subaru’s, how you always had to go for late night walks whenever we partied, and the time you got sprayed in the face by a skunk on Knox street, I could go on and on. My grandmother still ask what happened at her house that weekend…and still won’t believe a word I say.

Although I am saddened more than I can put into words that I will never get a chance to hang with my brother from another mother again I am so grateful to have all the memories and will cherish them to my last day.

I met Jim during one of the hardest times of my life and he went out of his way to help and be a friend when I needed one the most even on my worst days he could always make me laugh I regret that we drifted apart over the years thankful I saw him a few times this last year rest easy my friend you and your smile will never be forgotten

My Friend where do I start ? You were my first best friend for years , we were kids ,13 years old , for 5 years we did everything together, my Mom Considered you her adopted son ,  You helped me get through a lot of hard times in my life at such a young age , I will never forget the memories of us driving around all night and talking about Girls, all the games we played of basketball, The first cars we got days apart from each other, the first girlfriends we thought we would grow up and marry , The jobs we worked together,there’s so much I could go on and on , ever year on my Birthday I thought of you because we were born only 2 days apart , what a great childhood best friend I had , I miss you my Friend,, Rip , I got it from here 

Jim was a wonderful and valued member of the CMH team. I had the pleasure of seeing and talking with him casually about once a week. He was always smiling and was quick to offer a positive thought. His smile and presence will be missed dearly by all who knew and interacted with him.

Jim and I worked at Pizza Hut on Lisbon street many years ago. We were friends in and out of work. I remember how much he liked to work out and would make us all laugh out loud at work. Although I haven’t seen Jim in many years I would think of how much fun we all had, and the funny noises and jokes. It is true that Jim’s smile would light up a room. It is with a heavy heart that I say Rest In Peace Jim , and to his family my condolences to all of you. 

Jim it’s so hard to believe that your gone. I will miss the fun times we had in SPD at Cmmc. I know over the years we would go long periods of time without talking but I always knew that you would be there if I needed you. Cheryl and I where just talking about how you came to see her and sent flowers when she was in the hospital. I will never forget when during that time I really needed a friend and I called you and you were right there. Jim you have always been a great friend and I will miss you dearly. 

To Mila, Nicholas, Brittany and the rest of the family I am truly sorry for your loss. You are in Cheryl and I thoughts and prayers.

Known big Jim since the 8th grade and later worked with him at CMMC for a dozen years... his heart and humor  was as big as his shoulders.  Anyone who met him never forgot him , he was a hard worker And genuinely a nice man. My heart goes out to his loved ones and all who knew him. You will be deeply missed

As a former classmate, Jim was always kind and a friend to all.
At CMMC Jim was always polite, helpful and would go above and beyond in the SPD when I had to go there.
He always said Hi in passing and I've heard him many times through out the years help patients get to where they needed to be.  His smile and friendliness will be missed.

What a huge loss. I was lucky enough to work with Jim at the hospital and he was always so friendly and helpful. He was always smiling. I am so sorry to all of his family and friends for their loss.

I had only spoken to Jim on the phone at work so I was not lucky enough to meet him in person.  My sincerest condolences  for this huge loss and prayers for his family and friends.

So heart broken over the loss of Jim....  I've worked with Jim for many years , he was such a hard worker and kind person.

I was very sadden to hear of the sudden passing of Jim.  I have known Jim for a very long time.  I almost feel like he was employed longer at CMMC than 2006.  We always joked around with one another.  We had a running joke about all his fiancés.  I probably thought it was funnier than Jim did.  I will miss seeing him and joking around with him.  Jim was one of the good guys.

Nancy, I am very sorry for your loss.  I can't imagine how you and Jim's family are feeling right now.  My thoughts are with you all.

I am so very sorry to here about Jim's death. We have worked together since he began at CMMC. He was always pleasant and  helpful. He always had a smile and hello when we passed in the hallways.

I took over as head of security for CMMC approx. 3.5 yrs ago.  Jim was always willing to help me find my way through the halls and was quick to point out issues that we could correct together.  He was always quick with a smile and a hello.  His presence will be deeply missed.
