Kathern Francis Cichon

Kathy is survived by her husband, Alfred Cichon, children Rosemarie Linder & Adam Cichon; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings Leslie Gosick of Arizona and Sharon Love of Florida. She is preceded by: her parents Thomas W. Love (TW) and Francis (Terenick) Love of Florida; Siblings Francis Katherine, Patricia Ingham of California and Thomas W Love Jr. of Texas.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who cared for family and friends, She was a veteran (Air Force), nursing assistant (VA), social worker (DHHS/Hospital), case worker (jails) and wonderful

homemaker.

Kathern was born on June 25, 1949 in San Diego California to TW & Francis Love. She graduated from Orange Park High School in 1967 with a degree in business and University of Presque Isle Maine 1986 with a degree in psychology. She married Alfred Cichon, who she met while on duty as a Medical Technician in the Air Force in 1968. She moved to various states to accompany her husband she worked as a nursing assistant, a child protective worker and case worker in hospital and jails. The couple welcomed two children into their home.

Her children remember her as a patient and loving mother who encouraged them to live well, work hard and pursue their goals.

Kathy was passionate about service: Rainbow Girl as a child, military service/patient - client care as an adult. She kept a warm and loving home and often indulged in her skills as an excellent cook. She was a generous / witty / dedicated individual who loved her family and who was skilled at gardening as well. She was an active and devout member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and often volunteered at in service and teaching. A dedicated member of her community she was a member of Kiwanis (Caribou, Me.) and Optimist (Lewiston, Me).
