

Auburn - Marjorie A. Labbe, age 78, a resident of Hotel Rd. in Auburn passed away Friday morning March 11th at her home with family at her side. She was born in Lewiston October 8, 1932, a daughter of Harold and Alice (Albison) Caldwell and was educated in local schools. On January 31, 1955 she married Joseph A. Labbe. Following their marriage, they resided in Boston for 18 years prior to moving to Auburn in 1970. He predeceased her on September 13, 2008. Marjorie worked as a housewife and homemaker as she and Joe raised their family. She enjoyed playing Beano and doing arts and crafts, especially crocheting, but her greatest pleasure was enjoying the company of her family, children and grandchildren at special family gatherings and holidays as well as throughout the year. She was a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She leaves her seven children Linda McLaughlin of Carver, MA, Roy A. Labbe of Auburn, Joanne Labbe of West Palm Beach, FL, Debbie Evrard and husband Tim of Oxford, Raymond Labbe and wife Kathy of Lewiston, Alice Ware and husband Jack of Poland and Joyce Marie Turner and husband Kevin of Birmingham, AL;
12 grandchildren Kerry Cragin, Krystal Dallassandro, T.J. Evrard, Terry Labbe, Bobby McGlaughlin, Nolan Joseph Turner, Natalie Grace Turner, Cole Raymond Turner, Jagger Ware, Carley Rae Ware, Jacob Labbe and Jillian Labbe; seven great-grandchildren Skyla Dallassandro, Viola Dallassandro, Kassidey Cragin, Nirvana Cragin, Makayli Evrard, Bailey Evrard and Sophie Evrard; one brother Jimmy Miller and wife Ginnie of Poland; several nieces and nephews and close, special and longtime family friend Randy Baril of Auburn. She was predeceased by a brother Richard Dube and a son-in-law Robert McGlaughlin.
