Lewiston-Mary E. Harding, 89, formerly of Farmingdale, died Wednesday April 4, 2012 at Russell Park Manor. She was born in North Turner on July 13, 1922, a daughter of the late Henry and Lou (Abbott) Timberlake. She was educated in Turner and graduated from Leavitt Institute. She then went on to graduate from Central Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in 1943. Mary married the love of her life, Robert W. Harding, on November 14, 1943. He predeceased her on February 22, 2010. Mary was a nurse and later worked for the State of Maine in the Office of Legislative Research. Mary and Bob enjoyed spending the winter months at their Florida home in Zephyrhills for many years. Mary enjoyed gardening, square dancing, needlework and bingo. She leaves two daughters, Patty Dunham and her husband, Scott, of Alabama, and Judi Kelsea of Auburn, a son, Tracy Harding and his wife, Aimee Smith, of Hampden, a sister. Edith Zimmermann, and her husband, Richard, of Arizona, a sister-in-law, Louise Kilbreth of Topsham, four grandchildren, Michael Dunham and wife, Donna, of Georgia, Brian Kelsea and wife, Rachel, of Auburn, Kevin Dunham and wife, Lara Robinson, of Georgia, and Adam Kelsea and wife, Jessica, of Auburn, and eight great-grandchildren, Abby and Jacob Dunham, Mya and Sadie Kelsea, Sam and Amelie Dunham, and Alexis and Peyton Kelsea. She was predeceased by her three brothers, David, Lee and Elmer "Tige" Timberlake. The family would like to thank the staff at Russell Park Manor, Schooner Estates and Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Mary.
