Mary Francis Murray

She was born in Portland, Maine on October 15, 1935 the daughter of the late Arthur and Wanda (Anderson) Roy and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Waterville, Maine. She retired from General Electric Inc. in Auburn, Maine.

Mary enjoyed acrylic painting with her daughter, loved the ocean and laying on the beach and shopping for hours. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband James R. Murray whom she married on August 8, 1982 of Auburn; her children Tina Walton and her husband Gregory of Auburn, Mark Faloon and his wife Kimberly of Mechanic Falls, Nancy Simpson and her husband Jarvis of Turner, Steven Murray of South Paris and Lisa Gatts of Augusta; her sister Annie Delaware; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandsons.

She was predeceased by two brothers Peter and Charlie Anderson; and one sister Betty Mitchell.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Clover Manor Health Care Facility for all the care they have given to Mary.

Graveside Services honoring Mary’s life will be celebrated for the immediate family only at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. At the request of the family there will not be any visitation.
