AUBURN: Pauline D. Turgeon-Dube, 88, of Auburn passed away on Friday February 22, 2019 at her home. She was born in Lewiston on August 19, 1930. She grew up in the Lisbon area and attended local schools there. After high school, in 1949, she married Fernand Turgeon and they started a family together. When Fernand passed away she eventually met and married Robert Dube. During that time she worked in the shoe industry for various businesses such as Bel-Moc, Arno Moc, and Etonic. She also worked for several years at Northeast Bank until her retirement. She will be always remembered for her love of anything gold, going to the casino, shopping and animals. She also spent many mornings going to breakfast with her friends at Rolly's Diner. She will be deeply missed.
Pauline is survived by her two sons, Raymond and his wife Pamela of Durham and Normand and his wife Betty of Lewiston. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Penny Turgeon Pulos of Gorham as well as her grandsons, Chad and his wife Jen, Bryce and his wife Courtney, Matthew, Ben and his wife Jasmin and Stephen Turgeon and his fiancée Kara, her granddaughter, Jen Montgomery and her husband Rob. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Micaela, Lorelei, Devon, Dominik, Cole, Nora, Lilly, Orion, Molly and Jack. She was predeceased by her first husband, Fernand in 1980, her second husband Robert in 1992, her son Roger P. Turgeon in 1998, her longtime companion, Henry Jalbert, and her brothers, Normand and Raymond.
Visiting hours will be held at Fortin\Auburn on Wednesday February 27, 2019 from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 28, 2019 at 11am at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston followed by committal prayers at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston.
