

by his family on June 20, 2016 in Bakersfield,
California at the age of 67. Bo was born on July
16, 1948 in Wofford Heights, California to Alan and
Ann Tuttle. He graduated from Kern Valley High
School in 1966 and married his high school sweetheart
Brenda in 1968. After high school he worked for his
parents as a ranch hand and then decided
to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. He worked
as a Deputy for the Kern County Sheriff’s Department
and later transferred to The San Bernardino Sheriff’s
Department. In 1976 Bo decided to further his Law
Enforcement career and began working for The California
Department of Corrections. He worked in an array
of prison environments and after 20 years of service
he retired as a Correctional Sergeant.
Bo was a devoted husband and loving father. He loved
his family, the outdoors and traveling. He held himself
to a higher standard with impeccable morals and values.
His willpower was amazing, he never gave up despite
the odds.
Bo is survived by his wife Brenda Tuttle,
Daughters Shannon Flores, Rhonda Tuttle, Tanya Wilson,
Son in Law Charlie Flores, his grandchildren Adriann (16),
Samantha (13) and Pardae (12), sister Susie Sparks Brown,
Aunts, Uncles, cousins and numerous nieces
and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father
Alan Ross Tuttle and mother Anna John Tuttle,
of Wofford Heights, California.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2pm on
July 1, 2016 at The Kern River Valley Cemetery.
