Ambrocio was born on June 5, 1956 to his parents Arcadio and Gregoria Abidayo. Ambrocio was the only boy among four sisters: Esther, Gloria, Mamasang (Marilyn), and Ligaya.
Ambrocio spent much of his teenage life in the Philippines where he enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the islands. He had a passion for fishing, diving, and hunting.
Ambrocio was a faithful servant of Jehovah God, in which he dedicated his life to him on April 24, 1971 by water baptism.
On April 17, 1978, he married his beautiful wife Lydia Abidayo. The two of them began their family of seven in Bakersfield California.
Ambrocio had four daughters: Hazel M. Carter, Mary Abidayo, Stacey Chan, and Jessica Abidayo. Ambrocio had one son, Justin M. Abidayo.
Ambrocio also had grandkids who he loved so much. Rusty Carter IV, Catalina aka Cati Carter, Hali’a Carter, and Brixtyn Cobb.
When most people think about Ambrocio, they are often reminded of his extraordinary ability to grow plants, vegetables, and fruits. When Ambrocio wasn’t fishing, he would be spending countless hours in his beautiful garden in his backyard.
Ambrocio took up a career in agriculture. He spent decades with Asgrow seed company, Seminis seed company, and Bejo Seeds. His bosses often spoke of him as being a “genius” in his role as a Researcher in plant breeding and seed research.
Despite all his different endeavors, Ambrocio always put Jehovah God first in his life. He spent many years of faithful service to Jehovah alongside his wife. He was faithful to Jehovah until his very last day. Ambrocio was a firm believer in the resurrection hope as highlighted in Revelation 21:3,4 where it reminds us, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We long for the day that will be reunited with our dear loved one Ambrocio Abidayo when he returns to life in a beautiful paradise that Jehovah has promised.
