Barbara Mae Clifton 1932 - 2009 Chapel services will be held on Friday, Nov. 6, 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary. Barbara Mae Boles was born on September 14, 1932 in Santa Paula to Floyd and Mae Boles. She was one of five children. Barbara is survived by a sister, Maxine Sentel of Illinois. Barbara was married to Billy Clifton in 1949. They had three children, Wayne Clifton, Myra James and Steve Clifton. She had seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She worked at San Joaquin Hospital for 18 years. Mom's passions were her family, friends, gardening and her two dogs, Dennis and Riley. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, caregivers, staff, at Rosewood and Evergreen that helped mom through her last journey. Mama has gone to tend her garden now...
