Billy Joe Nichols was born in Big Spring, TX, and passed away at home in Bakersfield, CA on Sunday, September 23, 2018, and lived a full and happy life.
His friends included Glen Lundeen of Fresno, CA, a friend for over 50 years; and Matthew Phillips of Bakersfield, CA. He will be missed dearly by the Phillips family and his friends.
Bill owned an electronics business in Fresno called Cut Rate Electronics at 715 Broadway, then he moved to Bakersfield where he lived out the remainder of his life, and he loved watching old movies that he recorded from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. Bill had very strong Christian beliefs. He was part of Kenneth Copeland Ministries for decades. He is surely resting in God's memory and we can't wait to see him again someday.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elenor; mother Wilma; father Clarence; and brother Jim. He is survived by his dog Baby; and his friend Matt.
