Billy Self passed away on August 2, 2015 after a long battle with dementia at the age of 82. He is now in Heaven with his parents Bill and Clara, wife Emma, brothers Bobby and PeeWee and grandson Rodney.
He is survived by his children, Cheryl, Diana, Shelley and Rickey Lee. Grandchildren, Melissa, Jessica, Crystal, Cathaleen, AJ, Steven, Cody and numerous great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Buddy, Burrell, Loy , Larry, Betty, Lorene, Barbara, Brenda, Beverly and Bitha. Numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Billy was the oldest child of a family of thirteen children who loved to dance and play cards. He was a proud veteran and a sixty plus year member of Carpenters Local 743. We are sure he is now dancing again with Emma to a great country song. Billy will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
