Catherine Elaine Howard

Cathy is survived by her husband Richard J. Howard, her son Greg Lovett, and daughter-in-law Vanessa Lovett, two grandsons Shaun and Ian Lovett, two sisters Karen Ann Couto and Billy Jane Akin and brother-in-law John Akin. She was also surrounded by extended family, two step-daughters Lee Ann Howard and Renee Howard as well as grandchildren Richard Howard III, Paul King III, Cherokee Howard, Cheyenne Howard, and Ceirra Howard.

Cathy loved God, her family, and her church family. She dedicated her life to serving our Heavenly Father and found great joy in singing at church and with her family on holidays. Some of Cathy’s favorite passions were needlepoint, embroidery, and she loved playing the keyboard. Cathy enjoyed traveling and watching her husband run around base well into their late 70’s.

Cathy was a bookkeeper and receptionist for 25 years, working for Reynolds and Reynolds, Bosititch, and Tulare County Sheriff's Department. She loved retirement and being the keeper of our home. In fact you could almost set your watch by the way she went about caring for our home, and after she finished the dinner dishes she loved sitting with Richard in his recliner and watching jeopardy and wheel of fortune.

Cathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a true example of a Virtuous Woman.
