Christina "Janet " Cunha

It is our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Christina Janet Cunha, (nee Gillis/Butterworth), age 45, on March 30, 2017 in Bakersfield, California. Christina is survived by her loving husband, Justin, her two beautiful daughters, Kaidyn (Pedro), and Emmerson, parents, Andy and Joy Gillis, Bill and Judy Butterworth, Brother, Andrew (Michelle), Sister Amy (Mike), brother, Ryan (Amanda), sister, Theresa (Jay), sister, Lacey (Ben). Christina is also survived by her loving father in law, Melvin (Jan) Cunha and predeceased mother in law, Brenda Sanders, loving, Uncle Johnny, sisters- in-law,

Kelly (Dan), Connie (Cole), Amber (BJ), brother-in-law Michael (Angela), predeceased, sister-in-law, Starr. Christina is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Christina will also be sadly missed by her best friend, Becky Mittleberger, Christina was a dedicated trauma Nurse who devoted her entire professional career to helping others. While she loved helping others, her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband and daughters. Christina created many beautiful memories with her family visiting their favorite place, Pismo Beach.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canton Road, Bakersfield, California, at 2 pm, Monday, April 10, 2017. Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Bakersfield, California.
