She left her beloved home country in 1959 to Dahlonega, Georgia then moved to San Francisco, California in 1960 then relocated to Bakersfield, California in 1967.
She is survived by her children: Marlene, Cindy (Jeff) and Sam, grandchildren: Rachael, Angie, Andy, Nicholas, Christian, Alyssa, Justin, Danielle and Deborah, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Angel and Concepcion Palacios, siblings: Mario, Margo and Mauricio.

A rosary will occur Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:40 PM, 1800 Bedford Way, Bakersfield, CA 93308. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1800 Bedford Way, Bakersfield, CA 93308. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
