Conrad Louis Guevara

A loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home to our Lord. He transitioned on January 23rd, 2026, in his home during a peaceful sleep, his devoted wife by his side and numerous visits by loved ones in the days before.

Conrad was preceded in death by his father, Conrado Guevara; mother, Juanita Guevara; brother, Juan Guevara; and grandchild, Christopher Juarez. Conrad leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Linda Guevara; daughter, Lisa Ann Juarez, and husband, Samuel Juarez; son, Michael Guevara, and wife, Aime Guevara; and through them, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Helen Romero, and husband, Steve Romero; sister, Carmela Dominguez, and husband, Moses Dominguez, brother Gabriel Guevara, and wife, Rose Guevara, Lupe Guevara wife of late Juan Guevara, sister Teresa Garcia, Isidro Garcia. Conrad was also loved and will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Conrad enjoyed a rich and fulfilling career as a service technician with American Business Machines for the past 17 years. Conrad was described as kind, generous, and sharing with his knowledge. Conrad looked forward to going to work every day and being with his fellow employees. We, as his family, are grateful that he worked with people that he often spoke fondly of and enjoyed being with.

To our family, he was the leader, the one that kept in us the realization that there are no limits on what can be achieved. His ability to capture you in his storytelling of ancient history or biblical times, or just the telling of a movie, was authentic and compelling. He loved music, and we will remember him in every song he loved. He was logic, intelligence, and the light that will always shine brightly. We will miss Conrad most dearly. God is good, God is great.

A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1515 Baker St, Bakersfield, CA 93305, on February 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Following the memorial service, a graveside service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306, from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm on the same day.
