

David E. Bustamante, born on October 7, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. He was the beloved son of Ana and David Bustamante and is remembered for his warmth and passion for life.
David was an avid cook, known for his culinary skills and dedication to the restaurant industry, where he worked as a manager across several establishments. His love for sports, particularly his unwavering support for the Chicago Bears, was a defining aspect of his personality. He enjoyed building model airplanes and cars, often gifting these creations to friends and family, reflecting his generous spirit.
Known for his engaging conversations, David had a gift for connecting with others. He was never shy to jump into a discussion, whether it was about his favorite sports teams, history, or his latest culinary adventures.
David leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Ana Bustamante, and his brothers, Isaiah, Paul, and Gabriel Bustamante. He is also survived by his sister, Celia (Liz) Bustamante, and brother Mark Loya, along with many cherished nephews and nieces who brought him immense joy.
His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May David's memory live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Funeral service to celebrate David's life will be held at Life House East Bakersfield (New Hope) 5640 East Brundage Lane. On Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Please join our family immediately following at Edison Middle School Gymnasium 11518 School Street.
David's family and friends are grateful for the love and support they have received and invite all who knew David to remember his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.
