

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Della (“Pudgy”) Wilson, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a vibrant spirit who made an impact on all that knew her.
Della was born in Bakersfield California on April 11. 1943. She started working at the Bakersfield Police Department in 1968 as a Communications Operator and eventually retired in 2008 as a Transcribing Typist.
Della, alongside her late husband, Bruce Wilson, started Autographics in 1982. The shop designed and manufactured racing decals and provided embroidery services.
Della had a remarkable talent for crafting. Her charitable hobbies included giving back to the community by making hundreds of quilts for the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault.
Della is survived by her sister Lin Herron; step-sisters Norma White and Elaine Coenen; her daughters Tammy Tackett (Kevin) and Brandi Hartman; Step-daughter Shelley Wilson Reeger (Dan); Step-son Steven Wilson, her Grandchildren Tawny Martin (CJ), Kassy Marchant, Tarin Tackett (Ellie), Tori Tackett (Zack), Cody James, Lexi Reeger, Tyler and Madison Wilson, and great grandchildren Jett and Jax Martin, and Zoe Phillips.
Della is preceded by her husband Bruce Wilson; her parents, Elmer Kisbey and Louise White; her brother David Kisbey; and daughter Pamela James.
