He is now reunited with his beloved son, Donnie, and several family members.
Donald is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Margo. His daughter Hope Bray and son in law Mike. Grandchildren Jennifer, Gena, Michael, and Bryce Bray.
Donald was definitely one of a kind. He had a joke or saying for just about any situation. He enjoyed telling stories and making others laugh. Donald loved being a backhoe operator and owning his own business, Don Holder Backhoe Service. He worked all over the San Joaquin Valley for over thirty years, first in the oil fields and then in the farming and irrigation industry on his backhoe. When he wasn’t working you could find Donald and Margo camping and surf fishing on the Central Coast. Donald was happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held November 19, 2022, 11:00 am at the Bray residence.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hillcrestmemorial.com for the Holder family.
