Eliseo R. Atkinson of Bakersfield, CA went to meet his maker on September 20, 2024. He is preceded in death and met in heaven by his wife Leonor Cisneros Atkinson and two sons Homero and Fred Atkinson. He is survived by his 5 daughters: Juanita Morales, Salome Gonzalez, Elizabeth Atkinson, Diana Atkinson, and Dahlia Harris, 1 son: Omar Atkinson, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and close family friends Adolfo and Adriana Larios and family. Eli was a WWll veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S.Navy. He was a loyal man of God and passed down his beliefs to all of his family. He was a fun loving, friendly man who spoke to anyone that would hold a conversation with him. Eli loved going out on the town with his daughters, starting with breakfast, followed by people watching at the mall, and ending his day with an ice cream cone while taking the longest way home. He will always be loved and will be deeply and sincerely missed by all of his family and friends.
A visitation for Eliseo will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Patino, 425 30th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
His funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 425 30th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301. With a graveside to follow at 10:30 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
Serving as pallbearers are Fausto Gonzalez, Matthew Gonzalez, Eli Gonzalez, Richard Villa, Hayden Ackerman, Fausto Gonzalez Jr. and Adolfo Larios.
