Jarrett Charles Turner

Jarrett was born in Bakersfield to Joseph and Susan Turner. He and his wife Valerie were blessed with 18 years of marriage and two beautiful daughters, Alyssa age 13 and Ashley age 8. He also leaves behind an identical twin, Jeremy, and a big brother, Branden.

To know Jarrett was to love him. He was very charismatic, rarely got angry, and had the gift of laughter as well as a wonderful way of helping people see their own beauty. Though we are separated for a time, we will always hold in our hearts the gifts you gave us, Jarrett.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. The officiating Pastor will be Larry Wood. The pallbearers will be Branden Turner, Jeremy Turner, Buddy Montgomery, Michael Roberson, Brian Wells, and Kevin Lake. A reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at Jeremy and Michelle Turner’s house.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Alyssa’s and Ashley’s college scholarship funds. Checks should be made payable to “Vanguard 529 College Savings Plan” and should be sent to Jarrett’s home.

Valerie, Alyssa, and Ashley would like to thank family and friends for the incredible outpouring of help, hugs, and prayers, and, most of all, the Lord our Father for his comfort and strength.

I am home in heaven, dear ones.
