Joe Alfred Myers Jr.

1931 - 2018

Joe was born in Mulrow, Oklahoma in 1931 to Joe and Vernon Myers. He went to be with the Lord on October 20th, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, Son Michael, and Son Joey, and wife Geri.

He is survived by his Siblings, (Children) Doretta, Janet, Jim, Steve, Cindy, multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren all whom he loved dearly.

After graduating High School he enlisted in the US Navy. At the completion of his service he married Loretta, settled in Bakersfield, California while raising his family. He worked for the Kern County Sheriffs Department for 23 years before being medically retired. In his retirement years he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.

Funeral services are as follows: November 16th, 9AM at St. Francis Church of Assisi Catholic Church 900 H. St. Bakersfield, Ca 93304. Graveside service to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
