Throughout her 53 years of life, Juana impacted many lives and is remembered most for her kind heart, big smile, and contagious laugh. Juana worked as a custodian at the Kern High School District offices where she was known amongst coworkers to have a positive attitude and always willing to help others. Juana was a strong, free-spirited woman who always spoke her mind and encouraged everyone around her to stand up for themselves. Juana had an infectious personality and an incredible way of connecting with people, both loved ones and strangers alike, in a deep and meaningful way. Anybody who ever had the privilege of knowing Juana has a joyous memory and story to share about her. Juana loved to dance and sing. Juana was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend. Though Juana is no longer here physically, her love will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones, forever.
Juana is survived by her mother Cresencia Torres, her four children, Humberto Calderon, Diana Torres, Bryant Calderon Torres, and Vanessa Torres Gamino, her husband Juan Calderon, and two grandchildren Julian Calderon and Adelaida Valladarez-Calderon.
