Judy A Blomberg

Judy Blomberg passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Bakersfield, California. She was born Judy Ann McCaa on March 27, 1941, in Santa Monica, California, to Orval and Dortha McCaa, one of eight children. She spent her early years in Malibu, California, before moving with her family to Bakersfield in 1949.

From an early age, Judy developed a deep love for the Bible. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 4, 1950. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1959, where she met the love of her life, Stan Blomberg. They were married on December 31, 1960, and together raised four children: Chuck, Jamie, Johanna, and Sarah.

Judy and Stan served as Bible teachers in Latin America for many years, returning to the United States in 1980. During that time, Judy became fluent in Spanish. After their return, they continued to serve faithfully in both Spanish- and English-speaking congregations.

Judy was known for her quick wit and great sense of humor. She was an avid reader and treasured time spent with her family. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she had the privilege of teaching many students about the Bible over the years.

Judy was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Chuck” Blomberg. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Stan Blomberg; her son, Jamie Blomberg; daughter-in-law, Marisa Blomberg; daughters, Johanna Felico and Sarah Cook; son-in-law, Chris Cook; grandchildren, Alexis Blomberg, Jada Blomberg, Chanley Cook, and Sagan Cook; her brother, Jim McCaa, and sister-in-law, Tori McCaa; and her sisters, Brenda Knight and Donna True.

She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, located at 5501 E Brundage Ln Hall D, Bakersfield, California, 93307. The service is scheduled for January 24, 2026, starting at 11:30 am.
