Larry Peter Gutierrez 1949 - 2010 Larry Peter Gutierrez, 60, a former Correctional Officer for the Department of California Corrections and Naval Vietnam Veteran, passed away of a stroke at Memorial Hospital on August 18, 2010. Larry was born in Superior, Arizona on September 5, 1949 and was raised in Bakersfield, California along with his two brothers, Henry and Jerry. He is survived by his loving wife, Talissa, and loving daughter, Lisa. Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The viewing will be on Tuesday, August 24, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The burial service will be on Wednesday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m. www.hillcrestmemorial.com
