Lindsey Nicole Oliveras (Hutson-Huth)

We are saddened to announce our beautiful Lindsey passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2023.

Lindsey attended local schools and graduated from Foothill in 2002. She found her passion for volleyball and played club ball for local clubs. She loved her time at Foothill playing 4 years of volleyball, she participated in clubs and ASB and was selected Homecoming Queen her senior year. She played one season at BC and was selected WSC 2nd team all-conference. She did a temporary long term clerical sub at Foothill assisting with testing. She also enjoyed 3 seasons coaching volleyball at Foothill. She had an interest in the medical field and graduated from UEI Vocational school receiving her certificate as a Medical Assistant and was proud to have worked for Dr. William Baker and Associates. The birth of her 3rd child Roman took her out of the workforce temporarily. She was last employed at Spencer's restaurant, where she loved her co-workers and met and enjoyed serving so many of the regulars that came in.

She leaves behind a loving husband Erik and the lights of her life, her children; Marley 16, Micah 14, and Roman 5.

She also leaves her heartbroken family- her "ma" Teresa, dad Gary Huth Joseph, stepdad Mark, stepbrother Justin, mother and father in- law Karen and Abe and a large extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins. We love and miss you so much.

A Memorial Service for Lindsey will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Canyon Hills Assembly of God, 7001 Auburn Street, Bakersfield, CA 93306. Followed by a Celebration of Life at Rio Bravo Golf Course.
