He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who ever knew him. He worked for Amtrak for 32 years and in that time only missed 2 days of work ever.
Left to cherish is memory are his wife of 44 years, Claudia Jane Alvarado; daughter, Claudia Elizabeth Kammerich; son, Manuel Anthony Alvarado (wife, Martha); grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Duncan, Emily Grace Lafferty, James Allen Lafferty Jr., Derek Anthony Alvarado and Maya Alexis Alvarado; brothers, Fidel Alvarado, Tomas Alvarado; sisters, Consuelo Vargas, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Teresa Tovar, Alexandra Alvarado and Norma Ruiz; many nieces and nephews.
Serving the family is Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary Located at 9101 Kern Canyon Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93306.
