Ned Thompson 1924 - 2011 Ned Thompson was born June 26 th 1924 in Strang, OK. He moved to Bakersfield, Ca, where he met his wife Millie, and married in 1949, and lived out the remaining years of his life. He served in the Army from 1943-1946. He was employed by the United States Cold Storage for over 40 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Robert and Bessie Thompson, and son Tim Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife Millie of 62 yrs, daughter Belinda Dunn and husband Gary, duaghter Nedra Thompson, son Kirk Thompson and wife Margaret, daughter in law Sharlene Thompson, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. His death has brought a reunion in heaven for all his loved ones that have gone on before. Dad you are loved and will truly be missed. Thanks to Dr. Farrar, Hoffmann Hospice, and Gracious Lady for all your tender love and care. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 am at Hillcrest Mortuary.
