Ruby J Parent

1924 - 2011

Ruby Jean Parent was born on July 17, 1924 to Frank and Daisy Whitson and at the age of 86 passed from this life peacefully with children and grand children by her side and began life in eternity on February 23, 2011. She is survived by her children, Nadine Hamilton, Peggy Phillips, Billie McAlister, Gary Parent and wife Deanna, Randy Parent and wife Janice, Troy Parent and wife Diane, Basil Parent and wife Brenda, Debbie and husband Danny McCullar, 30 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Frank, Orvan, Lloyd and Lyle, sisters, Eulene, Johnnie, Deloris, Janeau, Iva, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Gilchrist and husband Robert, grandson, Justyn Parent, great-grandchildren, Blake Hurst, Nikki Green, and Patti Green, her parents Frank and Daisy Whitson, three brothers, Hoyt, Howard and Marvin Whitson. Services will be officiated by her grandson, Edgar Gilchrist on March 1, 2011 at 10:00a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, February 28th, from 4:00-8:00p.m.
