Stephen's most precious memories and enjoyment was being with his family and friends. He had the deepest love for his children, grandchildren, goddaughter Jessica Thompson and godson Evan Paerels. You brought him more joy than you could ever imagine.
Stephen's illness was diagnosed in 2011 resulting in him receiving a bilateral lung transplant in 2020. He fought a long courageous battle to stay with us. He thanked God and his donor every day for their gift of life. Stephen loved with his entire heart; passionately and full of kindness.
Stephen loved his 49ers!!! Especially watching the games with Christopher. Disneyland and Mickey Mouse were two of his favorite things. He was a kind, loving good man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Church, BBQ's, playing pool, riding quads at Oceano, holidays and music were among some of his favorite things.
