

Buck joined the Marines when he was 17 and was discharged honorably after his 4 years of service. Buck honed his already considerable mechanical skills and had a stellar reputation as the best large and small engine repairman on the California coastline. He had his pilot's license and was a freelance spotter pilot for many years.
He is preceded in death by both his parents Joe Jacob Anderson and Lena Mae Krebs and three of his siblings Roy Anderson, Joe Anderson, and George Anderson.
He is survived by his three children, Judy Anderson Morgan, Rebecca Anderson and Paul Anderson, daughter-in-law Christy Anderson, and grandson Jacob Anderson and son-in-law Gene Morgan, sister Margaret "Sue" Hatten and brother-in-law Kenneth Hatten Sr. and nephew Kenneth Hatten Jr.
In lieu of a funeral, Buck wished to be cremated and have a private ceremony. His children will inform everyone of the details of this event in the coming year.
