

Douglas “Doug” Dean DeOliviera, age 27 passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. Born on January 5, 1993, in New Jersey, Doug was raised by his devoted grandmother (Mama Dukes), Edita Gast. Doug spent the majority of his childhood in New Jersey and later on in Connecticut where he had the chance to develop long-lasting friendships. In 2017, Doug and Edita made the long journey from Connecticut to Nevada to begin a new chapter in their lives.
Doug will be remembered for his genuine heart, big laughs, and high-spirited personality. There was never a dull moment when you were around Doug. Whether he was dancing, taking pictures, or making jokes, every time spent with Doug was joyful. He left a big impact on every person he met throughout his life. Starting with his friends in high school to Lincoln Tech to Nevada, Doug managed to bring immense joy to everyone in his life. Doug was deeply loved by his entire family. He acted like glue within his family; always staying in touch and keeping them connected.
Doug will be proceeded by Edita Gast, Denise DeOliviera, Athena Ayala, Theresa Moreno, Brandie Jackson, Dino Potts, Jennifer Lambing, and Maureen Medina. Doug will be missed by his many cousins and family members.
Doug’s viewing took place on Wednesday, May 13th, where his family and friends put him to rest; Doug was cremated.
