Elia was born on September 20, 1927 to Abenicio and Louisa Maestas in Holman, New Mexico. Elia was preceded in death by her parents: Abenicio Maestas and Louisa Maestas, her husband Antonio Gonzalez, two sisters Priscilla Cockrell, Consuelo Faromillo and one brother Fidel Maestes. Elia is survived by her two daughters, Bella Nies, and Marlene William, one son Larry Gonzalez, six grandchildren, five great grand children, and one great-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews great nephews and nieces.
A service will be held at The Mead Mortuary at 36930 Irwin Road, Barstow, CA. On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 10:30 am.
A reception will follow the committal services at Barstow Seventh-Day Adventist English Church.
