Irene Meunier

Irene attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1972. She later completed her Bachelor of Science Degree. She began her accounting career with the Marine Base and worked 39 years of Federal Service with various agencies.

Irene will be remembered and deeply missed for her love of family, friends, music, dancing and watching her favorite tv shows but most of all for being the Best Grandma Ever!

Irene is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Lala Cordova, her brother Patrick Cordova and her ex-husband Ed Meunier.

Surviving her are her kids: Edward Meunier, Kellie Segarra and her son in law Jesse Segarra;

4 grandkids: Eddie III and Audrina Meunier, Dominick and Marcus Segarra;

Fur babies: Lexie, Logan, Penny and Harley;

Siblings: Cecilia Cordova, Phillip Cordova, Ann Margaret (Mike Barrett), and sister in law Sharlotte Cordova; nephew Ryan Cordova and niece Jennifer Cordova.

A service of remembrance for Irene will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Mead Mortuary, 36930 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311.

The rosary will be prayed at 10:30a.m. followed by a chapel service at 11:00 a.m.

Mead mortuary chapel is open for services at 100% capacity and strongly suggest that all guest wear a facemask or covering regardless of vaccination status while in the chapel attending services.

Mead mortuary’s office area is open with the following restrictions. We require all vaccinated and unvaccinated guest to wear a mask inside of the office area. We ask that all arrangement appointments be limited to 2 guest.
