Richard Charles Villafana

Richard was born July 20, 1952, in Barstow Ca. to Henry and Nelda Villafaña. He graduated from Barstow High School and enlisted in the Army from where he was honorably discharged. He worked for Santa Fe and the MCLB.

He enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to music and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Shirley Villafaña, and his children, Crystal and her husband Bennie Tafoya, Mark Villafaña, Paul Villafaña and his wife Marleen, Elizabeth Villafaña, Aileen and her husband Dylan Southard, Jammie Kilpatrick, and 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Nelda Villafaña, his four brothers, Ruben Baca, Michael Villafaña, James Villafaña, his son Richard “Rico” Villafaña Jr. and his great granddaughter Lydia Rose.
