Mr. Sesser L Robins Jr.

Brown Robins on January 12, 1948, in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. During

his early educational years, he attended Cameron and Clara B. McKinney

Elementary School. He also attended Barstow Jr. High and Barstow High

School. While at Barstow High School, Sesser was senior class treasurer,

and maintained excellent grades while participating in football, the school

choir, and track and field. He went on to Barstow Community College to

study Business and Accounting.

His career path included working at Yellow Freight, the Marine Base, and

Santa Fe Railroad. He also prepared tax documents for family and

friends. Sess served in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1971. In

2005, he moved to Salinas, CA, and worked as a Service Technician at

Walmart until his passing. He loved sitting in his car, listening to music,

and talking on the phone with loved ones and friends. But most of all he

loved God and shared wisdom about his walk with Christ to others.

Sesser entered eternal rest on January 29, 2025. He is preceded in

death by his parents: Sesser L. Robins, Sr., and Lucy Mae Robins, sisters

Mary “Mae Belle” Cotton, (Earl Cotton, Sr.), Linda Sue Schoolfield and

Cheryle Ann Robins; brother Stanley Lee Robins, nieces; Beverly Cotton

Ward, Brandy Aaron, and Alicia Robins, nephews; Michael James Robins,

Earl Cotton Jr., and Michael T. Robins.

Sesser leaves to cherish in his memory: his son, Sesser L. Robins, III

“Ace”; daughter, Glenis Ratcliff and granddaughter Chloe Leigh Burleson Robins,

and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends

A funeral service for Sesser will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Church of God in Christ, 1375 Bishop Nathaniel Jones Jr. Way, Barstow, CA 92311. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Mt View Memorial Park, Mt View Cemetery, Barstow, CA 92311.
