Shannon May McLean 1956-2017 Shannon May McLean was born September 7, 1956, at Elmendorf Air Force Base Alaska, to William McLean and Hatsu Kasano McLean. She was the second born of three daughters. Being from a military family, Shannon attended many different schools, but she graduated early from John F. Kennedy high school in 1973. She proudly supported our military working at MCLB. She started her career as a secretary, then became a hydraulics and heavy mobile equipment mechanic, and then production shop planner. Shannon believed like her co-workers that their mission was vitally important to taking care of our troops. After battling heart and lung issues, Shannon was taken home by the Lord on October 17, 2017. Shannon is survived by sisters Frances McLean and Beatrice Lint, her son Clayton (C.J.) Howard and Aimee Cassidy, her daughter Charissa and Matt Hilton, her three grandchildren Nichole Cassidy, Kayla Howard, and Rylee Jo Hilton, nieces Taryn Dawson Becker, Alexis Chavez, and Rochelle Chavez, nephew Sean Lint, boyfriend Richard Renteria and many close friends. Shannon lived life with a smile on her face always and abundant love in her heart. She loved fiercely and always had a way of making friends feel like family. She loved cooking, enjoyed fishing, games, great food, wine, and above all else, she loved spending time with her family. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 at the High Desert Word Church at 30918 Soapmine Rd, Barstow, CA, reception eld immediately after at The Pit Stop, 560 Victor St, Barstow, CA.
